Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these regulations is to investigate the truth and establish necessary measures in case of ethical violations or suspected cases arising in the journal, conference proceedings, and other publications issued by the Korean Society of Manufacturing Technology Engineers (hereinafter referred to as the "Society").

Article 2 (Ethics Committee)

An Ethics Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") shall be organized to achieve the purpose of Article 1.

Article 3 (Composition and Duties of the Committee)

① The Committee shall consist of one chairman and five members.
② The chairman shall be appointed by the Society's president upon the request of the chief of editorial board and shall oversee the ethical affairs of the Society.
③ Members shall be elected by the editorial board and appointed by the Society's president.
④ The term of the chairman and members shall be one year and may be renewed.

Article 4 (Duties of the Committee)

To achieve the purpose of Article 1, the Committee shall perform the following tasks:
① Conduct overall activities to establish research ethics.
② Regularly and irregularly conduct education on preventing research misconduct and continuously establish measures to prevent it.
③ Deliberate and decide on the truth related to research misconduct.
④ Consider and decide on sanctions against research misconduct and report to the board of directors.

Article 5 (Decision of the Committee)

① The Committee shall be convened as necessary and shall make decisions by the attendance of a majority of the members and the approval of a majority of the attending members.
② The chairman shall notify the person under suspicion of misconduct of the Committee's decision and request a written statement within 15 days for re-examination.
③ The chairman shall submit the decision to the editorial board and report to the president for processing.
④ The participants and contents of the Committee's meetings shall be kept confidential as a principle.

Article 6 (Report of Research Misconduct)

① Reports of research misconduct must be submitted in writing, and efforts shall be made to protect the rights of the person making the report.
② As a principle, information about the Committee's investigative activities shall be provided upon the request of the person making the report.
③ False reporters shall be excluded from the protection of their rights.

Article 7 (Sanctions and Follow-up Measures for Misconduct)

In case of confirmed research misconduct, the following sanctions may be imposed according to the Committee's decision:
① Cancel the publication of the relevant publication.
② Deprive membership of the Society and prohibit submission to the Society's journal and presentation at conferences for five years.
③ If the paper has already been published, announce the cancellation of the publication in the journal, and notify it to the affiliation organization of the person responsible for the misconduct.
④ If the person making the report made a false report intentionally, the same level of sanctions as the person responsible for the misconduct may be imposed.

Supplementary Provisions

These regulations shall apply from the date of approval by the board of directors (July 19, 2013).





한국생산제조학회 윤리위원회 운영규정

제 1조 (목적)

한국생산제조학회 (이하 “학회”로 한다) 에서 발간되는 학회지, 학술대회 논문집, 부문위원회 논문집 및 기타 간행물의 윤리 위반 및 의심사례 발생 시 진위를 조사하고 필요사항을 규정함을 목적으로 한다.

제 2조 (윤리위원회)

제1조의 목적을 달성하기 위해 윤리위원회(이하 “위원회”)를 조직한다.

제 3조 (위원회의 구성 및 직무)

① 위원회는 위원장 1인과 위원 5명으로 구성한다.
② 위원장은 편집위원장의 재청에 의해 학회 회장이 임명하며, 학회의 윤리에 관한 업무를 총괄한다.
③ 위원은 편집이사회에서 선출하여 학회 회장이 임명한다.
④ 위원장과 위원의 임기는 1년으로 하며 연임할 수 있다.

제 4조 (위원회의 임무)

위원회는 제 1조의 목적을 달성하기 위해 다음의 업무를 수행한다.
① 연구윤리 확립을 위한 전반적인 활동을 진행한다.
② 연구 부정행위 예방 교육을 정기적/비정기적으로 실시하고, 예방 및 방지 방안을 지속적으로 수립한다.
③ 연구 부정행위 발생 시 관련 진위를 심의하고 의결한다.
④ 연구 부정행위자에 대한 제재를 검토하고 의결하여 이사회에 보고한다.

제 5조 (위원회 의결)

① 위원회는 필요에 따라 소집되며, 재적위원 과반수의 출석과 출석위원 과반수 찬성으로 의결한다.
② 위원장은 위원회 의결 사항을 부정행위 의심자에게 통보하고 15일 이내에 서면으로 소명의견을 받아 재검토 한다.
③ 위원장은 의결된 내용을 편집이사회에 송부하고 회장에게 보고하여 처리한다.
④ 위원회의 참가자 및 회의 내용은 비공개를 원칙으로 한다.

제 6조 (연구 부정행의위 제보)

① 연구 부정행위의 제보는 서면으로 제출하여야 하며, 제보자의 권리 보호를 위해 최대한의 노력을 기한다.
② 제보자의 요청이 있을 시 위원회의 조사 활동에 대한 정보를 제공함을 원칙으로 한다.
③ 허위 제보자는 권리 보호 대상에서 제외한다.

제 7조 (부정행위에 대한 제재 및 사후조치)

연구 부정이 확인된 경우 위원회의 결정에 따라 아래의 제재를 진행할 수 있다.
① 해당 간행물에 대한 게재를 취소한다.
② 학회 회원 자격을 박탈하고, 5년간 학회 학술지에 투고 및 학술대회 발표를 금지한다.
③ 해당 논문이 이미 출판된 경우 학술지에 게재 취소를 공지하고, 부정행위자의 소속 기관에 부정행위 내용을 통보한다.
④ 제보자가 고의로 허위 제보를 하였을 경우, 연구 부정행위자와 동일한 수준의 제재를 가할 수 있다.

부 칙

1. 이 규정은 이사회에서 승인된 날(2013. 7. 19)로부터 적용한다.
